Company

Decades of shipping enterprise software — behind one platform.

TDSI builds Front Door and DataBridge — a Microsoft‑native employee portal and low‑code studio that companies own and run in their own Azure. Behind it is a team that has architected, built and sold enterprise software for a very long time.

Leadership

Founded by two builders who never stopped building.

A philosophy built on experience

One of the defining characteristics of Daniel's career is that he never stopped being a technologist. While many leaders move away from the technical side of the business as they advance, Daniel has remained actively involved in software architecture, solution design, and emerging technologies throughout his career.

This hands‑on approach allows him to understand challenges from every perspective — whether he is speaking with an executive team about business strategy, working with developers on product architecture, or helping customers solve operational problems. It is this combination of leadership, technical depth, and customer focus that continues to distinguish him within the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, and remains passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and helping organizations use technology to create lasting competitive advantages.

Eric Levine

Co‑Founder
elevine@tdsi.io
40‑year career · founded and sold three software companies BSEE, Carnegie Mellon University & UMass Lowell M.Eng. Management, Northeastern University

Over his 40‑year career, Eric Levine founded and built three software companies, all of which were acquired after achieving significant revenue and employee growth. Each of those companies worked with new and innovative leading‑edge technologies. Eric has been responsible for architecting and building software products, managing design, development and testing, and recruiting and building staff. He has extensive experience in business, accounting, and finance systems.

Eric began his career as a software engineer. He founded Business Systems Research (BSR), a DEC Business OEM, in 1975 to develop business applications. BSR developed turn‑key systems for distribution and manufacturing businesses and had a division that became the market leader in supplying systems to Custom House Brokers and International Freight Forwarders. In 1980, BSR was acquired by ADP and became the International Trade division.

After leaving ADP, Eric co‑founded Layered, Inc., the developer of the first graphical user interface accounting software suite. Layered established dominant market share in its target market and was acquired by Peachtree Software. Eric then founded Flashpoint, Inc., a software development company that developed products for software companies and publishers, from specification through product‑ship. He built and ran Flashpoint for 12 years prior to its acquisition by Bottomline Technologies in 2000. At Bottomline, Eric headed the division responsible for all aspects of their Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payments System.

At TDSI, Eric spends considerable time identifying and selecting appropriate Business Intelligence technologies for our target market, designing our solutions, and working with our customers and partners to ensure that our solutions meet their unique needs.

Eric attended Carnegie Mellon University and UMass Lowell and holds a BSEE degree. He also holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from Northeastern University.
